1/ EACH OF THE COMPETITORS HAS TO GAIN 5 POINTS IN ONE LESSON. AFTER REACHING 5 POINTS PIANIST-COMPETITOR GETS BONUS,

( I KNOW IT SOUNDS MADLY BORING- IF THIS IS WRITTEN IN TEXT ONLY- JUST WAIT, WHEN YOU TRY IT! - YOU WILL LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT :)) YOU CAN EARN THE POINTS BY PLAYING PARTS OF THE MUSIC WITHOUT MISTAKES WITH PROPER DYNAMICS AND WITH WELL PRACTISED EXECUTION OF YOUR MUSIC. DIFFICULTY OF THE POINTS ARE DEFINE BY TEACHER ACCORDINGLY TO TECHNICAL AND DELIVERY ABILITIES OF THE STUDENTS.)

THE INSTRUCTOR:

"I teach everyone from the age of 3 to 100 years ( if you can make it to that age alive :) I HAVE TAUGHT PIANO FOR OVER 21 YEARS IN TWO EURO-COUNTRIES. If I may boast about my pupils, many are now brilliant musicians, achieve high level of music education and others are lovers of life's joys such as piano music. If we stop singing and dancing, stop playing and listening brilliant music, we stop living"

My name is Monika, born in Slovakia in 1973,
I have a varied and rich educational history, and have worked as a teacher of many different subjects to a wide range of students. I've received a thorough musical education, including studies of Russian music, classical, jazz and free style. Alongside this I attended art and drama schools (studying experimental, classical theatre and drama.) I was a regular member and winner  in poetry, drama, singing and instrumental competitions .

In 1997 I finished my schooling obtaining a degree in Slovak language and literature, as well as musical education, specialising in piano playing and teaching. I have more than 15 years of teaching experience for these subjects in both Slovakia and the U.K., as well as am always eager to take on new students to help inspire them and shape them as future musicians.


As a piano teacher I can offer personalised, focused help in whatever skills you may wish to learn or improve on, whether that be from a beginner level or a more experienced level. ( I prepare my pupils for distinctive marks in ABRSM exams from PT, Grade 1- Grade 8. Others I prepare for solo or band play. I teach impro and composition as well. I have a keen interest in psychology ( I am a Psychology MSc student on Westminster University ) and also aim to work to help people get better at public performances and overcome stage fright.
There is a great variety of services I could offer when it comes to my student's musical needs. I can also offer creative help if people wish to play simply for fun or if they wish to develop their own unique musical style.
